Art Clubs for P4 - S2 age children are active in Westhill on Monday and Tuesdays after school at the Trinity Church Hall, as well as Wednesdays in Cults at Hillview Church hall, and in Inverurie on Thursdays after school at the Roman Catholic Church Hall on North Street.
Art Club members are asked what they want to learn, then Penny tailors professional art lessons to their needs.
Penny uses art as a tool for basic engagement with pupils from P1-S6 with a wide range of emotional needs and abilities, enabling therapeutic art techniques to become part of their tools for life. She is currently working with care experienced children and young people on painting projects across Aberdeenshire #KeepThePromise
Your Creative Space can include: animation, video and sound editing, digital art on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil, drawing, painting, street art and spray painting, sensory art, super hero and comic book art, storyboards, model making, cosplay and prop creation and relaxing general arts and crafts sessions.
Young artists with additional support needs can develop their own styles and skills, in a relaxed 1:1 setting, in person or on video, or at the new Inverurie group on Thursdays 13.45-15.15 at the Roman Catholic Church hall. Here they can be creative and meet new friends.
